Another phone scam in Jackson County

Authorities in Jackson County are warning people about another phone scam making the rounds. Someone received a phone call from a person claiming to be Blue Cross Blue Shield. The caller then asked for personal information. The Blackman Leoni Department of Public Safety says you should never give out personal information over the phone, especially your social security number and banking information. If you get a call like this, contact police and file a report.
