They’re not called trash pandas for nothing! Racoons are scavengers by nature, meaning that they would rather search for their food instead of hunting it down. The will normally look in and under trees, under rocks and in bushes for their food. But why settle for few measly bugs when they can just dive into a dumpster and search for tasty leftovers there?

Coons may be nimble little suckers, but that doesn’t mean that they can always find their way out of a tight situation. Luckily there are good folk in the world, like this guy, who are willing to help these thieves find freedom again.

After working an overnight shift, this Good Samaritan came home to find three young racoons stuck in the dumpster of his townhouse complex. Luckily for these baby raccoons, his simple idea helped them escape back to their family.

Instead of scaring them off or leaving them out to fend for themselves, the mad went out to find a long piece of plank and stick it in the huge dumpster, in order to help the silly ninjas climb right out and into the wild. You can tell how desperate the animals were, since the big guy grabbed the plank almost out of the man’s hand. One by one, they reach the surface, give their savior a look of thank you, and then run off.

All is well that ends well.
