Sunday Service: Ranting About the Miami Elite & Harry Styles
Join me on a typical Sunday (November 5th), starting in the late afternoon rush at 4:10 p.m., where the hustle of Miami airport rides beckons. Despite a late start, I'm determined to make the most of the return trips from the beaches and downtown. I reflect on the journey of my 100 days of vlogging, approaching its milestone and the lessons learned. Balancing content creation with Uber rides, I acknowledge the sacrifices made, both time and financially, for my growing community of 890 subscribers.
As I cruise through Miami, picking up a chic couple bound for Joe's Stone Crab, I dive into musings about society's affluent and their penchant for premier ride services. I navigate through traffic, ruminating over the varied clientele, from wealthy patrons to those grappling with everyday struggles. A serendipitous premier ride sets a positive tone, underscored by a catchy Harry Styles tune on LGBTQ radio, which surprisingly becomes the soundtrack for passengers from all walks of life.
Amidst the traffic and rides, I indulge in a lengthy discourse on the complexities of fame, wealth, and relationships, sparked by the unexpected romantic liaisons of celebrities like Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde. The streets of Miami offer more than just rides; they provide a backdrop for social commentary and personal reflection.
As the day unfolds, I encounter Uber's quirks, like the 'phantom surge,' and navigate the nuances of customer interactions, which range from delightful coincidences to curt commands. Each ride, whether premier or comfort, unfolds a new layer of the city's vibrant tapestry, from the opulence of Star Island to the buzz of Brickell's financial hub.
Today's earnings tally up impressively: $96 from prior reservations, $126 from Uber's varying fares, and $175 from my dedicated private clients, culminating in a gratifying $303. This day reaffirms my focus on private rides, reducing the reliance on unpredictable airport fares and late-night hustles.
I round off the vlog with a candid conversation about the future of the channel and my subscribers, promising growth, evolution, and perhaps, a new venture into merchandise - a token of appreciation for those who've been there from the start.
As the Miami skyline fades into the rearview mirror, I sign off, already anticipating tomorrow's goals, legal errands, and the promise of a less burdensome editing session. Thanks for riding along; don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe (or 'sus-scribe' if you're feeling a bit suspicious of my antics). Here's to rolling into the new week with the same vigor and a private ride to cap off a successful Sunday.
