Are You Offended?

I believe that scripture is clear on us believers being offended at the right things, and responding — not reacting but responding — in a godly way. Taking offense at something is a choice.

We as believers can and will cause others — including our clients, coleagues, and customers — to take offense. But what bothers us is up to us. What we fear is up to us.

This is a word of exhortation and encouragement in a time of increased trouble, when it’s “trendy” to be offended at just about everything.

I created the Occuprise Network around the idea that we as entrepreneurs, solorpreneurs, and creativepreneurs are uniquely positioned to impact the business, government and policy sectors (mountains) of culture. We’re carrying our own banners rather than helping other carry theirs.
