How Japan’s Kamikaze Attacks Went From Last Resort at Pearl Harbor to WWII Strategy

On the infamous morning of December 7, 1941, Japanese fighter pilots made final arrangements for their deaths. The aviators penned farewell letters and slipped them into envelopes along with locks of hair and clipped fingernails that their loved ones could use for their funerals. After a moment of prayer at makeshift Shinto shrines, the airmen shattered the silence with two sharp handclaps before downing ritual sake shots.

FBI Data Shows Knives Kill More People Than Rifles

Two recent shootings in Atlanta, Georgia and Boulder, Colorado are fueling team-left’s long desired ban on “assault-style” rifles like the AR-15.

But, according to data from the FBI, far more murders are committed with handguns, knives, or even bare hands.

The most recent data from 2019 shows that although firearms do account for the majority of homicides - 10,258 - the number of homicides committed using a rifle - 364 - is much smaller, according to the Daily Caller.

Trump gag order in election case is 'unconstitutional': law professor

Former President Trump’s gag order in his Washington, D.C. 2020 election interference case is "unconstitutional," George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley claimed Friday.

On Friday, the gag order was temporarily lifted by U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, so the judges can consider Trump’s request for a longer pause on the restrictions while his appeals play out.

ACLU Backs Trump, Calls Gag Order ‘Unconstitutional’ in Court Brief

Former President Donald Trump has an unlikely defender in his fight against a gag order in U.S. District Court in D.C. — the American Civil Liberties Union.

On Wednesday, the ACLU filed a friend of the court brief on Trump’s behalf, in which they called the gag order “Unconstitutional.” In the brief (which can be read here via Politico), the ACLU defended Trump’s right to speak on First Amendment grounds.
