Cannabis legislation in Maryland is the first legislation to take a "full on" social equity approach to the legalization of cannabis in the state.
However.... They don't reveal the real truth behind the stipulation within said legislation, or the fact that all money made currently is made by all our of state multi million dollar corporation owners.
83.47 Million in one month, yet they see the need to hoard this.....that's revenue, not Taxes. If the main issue is Taxing, as we've always been told, why is the elite being placed above everyone else with the backhanded stipulations of "social equity" essentially ensuring those elite are seen pandering to the lowest and worst off, SUPPOSEDLY.
I have my thoughts about all this insanity, including the fact that 11 of 20 couple liscences are issued to baltimore, my county in Western Maryland is assigned 1. This wasn't "cannabis crime" and you can't take 13% of a population, have them commit 59% of violent crime, then reward said cohorts of today with explicit access bc the violence and other crimes were recategorized under social equity as a cannabis crime if they so much as has a pipe.
