Ranking My 3 Favorite Star Wars Games On Home Consoles

In my career, I have been lucky to be able to interact with a number of the top drivers on the NASCAR circuits. From Kyle Busch, Jeff Burton, Tony Stewart, and more, I have been lucky to meet or collaborate with a number of them. Through my regular job, the company that I used to work for was an associate sponsor of Ryan Blaney and the number 12 Team Penske Menards Ford Mustang. On November 5th, 2023 Ryan captured his first NASCAR Cup Series Championship. He is known to be a Star Wars geek, so in honor of him I figured it would be appropriate to talk about and rank my three favorite Star Wars home console games.

Editor's note, the Star Wars arcade game is still my favorite Star Wars game of all time.

Number 3
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
While I enjoyed all of the Star Wars games on the Nintendo Entertainment System and the Super NES, it wasn't until the Nintendo 64 that I felt that Star Wars games really got good. Rogue Squadron had amazing music, and great graphics, and you could fly a car against TIE Fighters. How cool is that?

Star Wars: Republic Commando
I picked this up recently from Limited Run Games on the Nintendo Switch and have absolutely loved it. Set during the Clone Wars error, and originally released on the first Xbox, this is a great shooter that, if you loved Battlefront, I think you will love this.

Star Wars: Rogue Leader
When Star Wars hit the Nintendo GameCube I didn't think it could get any better. We had CD-quality audio, and beautiful cutscenes, and the game was just fantastic. I still love playing this game to this day as it makes me feel like I am actually playing a part of the movie.
