Tension is continuing to rise in the South China Sea China where China has claimed the vast majority of the waters for itself despite international law stating that each country has the right to 200 Nautical Miles from its coast. Much of the water and the islands are closer to other countries such as The Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia and China's refusal to drop its claims has resulted in various conflicts and loss of life. China continues to threaten the Philippines and two Chinese Vessels have now STRUCK ships from the Philippines. The situation has the potential to boil over as the USA is supportive of the Philippines position.
