Despite extensive investigations and searches, no witnesses or evidence regarding her disappearance were found. On March 24, 2010, twelve years after her disappearance, Amy Lynn Bradley was declared legally dead. There have been various theories about her disappearance, with some suggesting she might have fallen overboard, while others believe there might be more to the story.
