Schwab's advisor, World Economic Forum expert Yuval Harari, on how Israel shouldn't kill all the women and children in the Gaza Strip: [You may well end up killing a lot of Hamas terrorists, but if you also kill dozens, maybe hundreds thousands of civilians, you will certainly discourage these people from wanting any form of deal with anyone after this]. This is why Israel must be very careful in its actions. Israel is not a terrorist organization like Hamas. He has no goal of killing as many civilians as possible. Of course, it is very difficult to fight a terrorist organization that is hiding among the civilian population. Ideally, civilians should be able to leave combat zones. Egypt, which borders the Gaza Strip, must be prepared to accept Palestinian civilians for the duration of the war to protect them. I would say that even Israel should explore the possibility of at least accepting women and children from the Gaza Strip, you know, perhaps allowing the Red Cross or some other international organization to build temporary safe shelters for the civilian population of Gaza on Israeli soil on time of conflict. Again, I don't know if this is feasible. Of course, if Israel wins the war against Hamas without providing an alternative future for Palestinian civilians, in a few years we will have something even worse than Hamas.
