Holly Knight interview with Darren Paltrowitz

After leaving the band Spider, Holly Knight would go on to write or co-write tons of pop and rock classics. This long list of radio and MTV staples includes Pat Benatar's "Love Is A Battlefield," Tina Turner's "The Best" and Scandal's "The Warrior," beyond songs for Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Meat Loaf, KISS, Heart, Rod Stewart, Chaka Khan, G-Eazy and Cheap Trick.

And speaking of Tina Turner, 3 of the songs which Holly Knight wrote for Turner are featured in the recently-premiered Broadway production of Tina: The Tina Turner Musical.
