This Incredible Song is from the Guess Who's Biggest Selling Album of All Time, American Woman, and was actually released as the 'B-Side' to their first Single from the Album, the Song, American Woman...Show more

American Woman, the Song, instantly became a Top 5 Smash across the World, becoming #1 in many Countries, so, DJ's flipped the Single over, and started to play the B-Side, and incredibly, this Song, No Sugar Tonight / New Mother Nature, also raced up the Charts, and went to #1 as well...this was followed Shortly after by the Release of their Third Single from the Album, No Time, which made it 3 Singles in a Row to all go Top 5 on the Singles Chart, while the Album was Top 10 the World Over...

This 'Song' is actually TWO Songs merged into ONE seamless, Mastercraft Production, that unified the Two Unique Perspectives of Mother Nature by both Randy Bachman (No Sugar Tonight) and Burton Cummings (New Mother Nature)...both Men KNEW that Mankind Had to Return back to Mother Earth, and Producer, Jack Richardson, took the two Songs and with Burton Cumming's Help, he merged them together, with the Unifying Theme of Mother Earth, from two Sympathetic viewpoints...

To Randy Bachman, the term 'Sugar' that he heard used a lot during the Sixties, was Derogatory towards Woman in General, but especially the Sacred Feminine that is Within All of us...and Randy knew that we needed to get away from the 'Babylon Whore Sugar', dominated by Sex, Drugs and Selfishness, back to Mother Earth, whose Sweetness was DIVINE, Loving, Caring and Selfless...

Burton Cummings wrote a little interlude to connect the Two Songs together, and then came Cumming's Perspective, where EVERYONE was getting EVERYTHING WRONG, and that we needed to just Let Go of all our Problems, and get Back to Nature, Hand-in-Hand with the Sacred Feminine...

And during the Outro of the Song, Cummings repeated all the Key Words that Bachman had written about HOW TO FIND our Sacred Mother, which was Within Ourselves via Mediation, and Out There, by Living Off of the Land...and remember, their next album, also released in 1970, was Share the Land, where the entire Focus of that Brilliant Album was to Get Away from Cities and get back to the Peace and Serenity of the Land, embracing Mother Earth completely...

Deep Inside, Find a Corner, Where EYE can Hide, Silent Footsteps, Crowding Me, Sudden Darkness, But EYE can SEE...this lays out the Path to Enlightenment and Peace of Mind, and that is the INNER WAY thru Meditation of the Mind...and remember, One Way or Another, Mother Earth will indeed, Get Us All...so make it while you are LIVING and Not DEAD...
