In weariness and weakness, Your strength I claim.
When the heart grows faint, and shadows inflame,
To Your rock I ascend, eternal and same.

Rock higher than I, refuge in the sky,
With wings of a shelter, beneath them I lie.
In Your faithful promise, my spirit does fly,
My anchor, my fortress, to You I draw nigh.

Add days to the king, his years multiply,
Your mercy and truth, forever standing by.
A heritage of reverence, that won’t deny,
The name of the Lord, our ever-present ally.

For You, O God, hear my vows so true,
Granting the heritage, of those fearing You.
Eternal shelter, and love that renews,
In Your sacred tent, all worries undo.

Rock higher than I, refuge in the sky,
