Combat work of TOS-1A Solntsepyok crews
Crews of heavy flamethrower systems continue to effectively carry out the tasks of destroying strongholds, fire weapons, manpower and armoured vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Ugledar direction of the special military operation. Flamethrowers load no more than seven thermobaric shells on board - this is the optimal number, it is sufficient both for combat work and for the safety of the crew itself. Taking into account the well-coordinated crew, loading takes no more than 10 minutes; it is necessary to constantly monitor the air situation - reconnaissance drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are on duty in the sky. The autumn forest no longer provides shelter.
Because of its firepower, the TOS-1A Solntsepyok has been in special favor with the enemy since the first days of the special military operation. Over the past year, the crew of this combat vehicle alone destroyed several dozen strongholds of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the front line.
For safety reasons, the crew installed traps against attack drones on the combat vehicle - a welded structure made of a frame, metal mesh and steel chain
