Canadians can leave Gaza as early as Sunday as families grow desperate

Dozens of foreign nationals continued to leave Gaza today through the southern Rafah border crossing. The Canadian government says its citizens can leave Gaza as early as Sunday.

Some 450 Canadians and their family members are in the region and have expressed a desire to leave, Global Affairs Canada (GAC) has said.

GAC said it has plans to receive Canadians once they cross to Rafah, Egypt to provide any necessary support, including documentation and onward travel to Canada.

But as Neetu Garcha reports, the uncertainty – both in Gaza and at home in Canada—has left many desperate and frustrated.
