The TNPSC Assistant Engineer Exams are conducted to fill positions such as Principal, Industrial Training Institute / Assistant Director of Training, and Assistant Engineer. To secure one of these positions, you must go through a two-stage selection process: a written exam and an interview. In the written exam, candidates from reserved categories need to achieve a minimum score of 171 out of 570 marks, while candidates from other categories should aim for at least 228 out of 570 marks to qualify for the next stage, which is the interview. The interview is the final phase of the selection process where your suitability for the job will be assessed further.
