Early voting rant - there has to be a better way

Yet another annoying experience with early voting. There has to be a better way, and making another holiday that retails workers don’t get isn’t it.
3 days, one required off from work, every polling place open. Absentee ballots for legitimate reasons upon request. Why not this?
