More school buses in Hasidic Brooklyn than anywhere else!

Why so many buses?

Because each Hasidic family sends their children to two private schools: a private school for the girls, a private school for the boys.

Each family sends the children to the private school affiliated with their sect. There are about 10+ sects in Hasidic enclaves like Williamsburg and Boro Park.

All in all, during school pickup hours, we can estimate that sometimes 20 different buses will come to pick up children from each block.
