United Nations experts have said time is running out to

"prevent genocide and humanitarian catastrophe" in Gaza

and have slammed Israel for refusing to "halt plans to

decimate" the bombarded Palestinian enclave. Israeli

defense forces have amassed outside Gaza City,

continuing their deadly air attacks, resulting in the

reported deaths of at least 9,000 Palestinians from the

airstrikes. is mounting to halt the ongoing

fighting, with both US and Arab leaders urging Israel to

ease its siege of Gaza. The US has deployed intelligence

drones over Gaza to aid in locating hostages. Meanwhile,

the UN has reported the entry of 102 trucks carrying

humanitarian aid into Gaza via the Rafah crossing.

Worldwide protests are demanding an end to the Israeli

bombing of Gaza, and Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah is

expected to make a public speech. Additionally, Thailand is

in discussions with Iran to secure the release of 23 of its

citizens who are held captive by Hamas.
