"The Look" is a song by the Swedish pop rock duo Roxette. It was released as a single in 1988 and later included on their second studio album, "Look Sharp!" The song became a massive international hit and is one of Roxette's signature tracks. "The Look" was written by Per Gessle, one half of Roxette, and was originally not intended to be a single. However, an American exchange student brought the album to a radio station in Minnesota, and the station's DJ liked "The Look" so much that he decided to play it on the air.
