The Colorful Hasidic High Holidays

*Happy New Year to all of you on YouTube! It's the time for the Jewish New Year: year 5784!*

Watch my complete high holiday series in a single, edited, compilation that takes you through various fall ceremonies of the Jewish New Year. This is a fun, heartfelt exploration of the Hasidic community as it celebrates the fall holidays through various rituals. I have not filmed any of it during "muktzah" periods - muktzah periods are times when you are not allowed to use gadgets like cameras. So none of this was filmed during actual holidays when you are prohibited from using cameras. You only see that which happens before and after "no camera" days. Still, you'll see there's a lot going on just on the days around the actual holidays.
