A new rumor claims that Robert Downey Jr. has agreed to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, “Sources say there have been talks to bring back the original gang for an Avengers movie. This would include reviving Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man and Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow, both of whom were killed off in Endgame.”
However, Siegel noted the studio had not committed to the idea yet and salaries such as Robert Downey Jr.’s $25 million for Iron Man 3 could be a hurdle.
