The House of Representatives passes bipartisan stand-alone Israel funding bill, but Biden will veto!

After a tumultuous battle among republicans, they finally have a new house speaker who has vowed to pass only single subject spending bills, something many voters on both the left and right have called for.

The house finally passed bipartisan legislation today (11/2/2023) to send stand-alone funding to Israel.

But there’s only one big problem, Joe Biden has promised to veto the bill since the the bill doesn’t include joint funding for Ukraine.

Is this an abuse of power?
