Scott Kelly is a former NASA astronaut and a retired U.S. Navy Captain, best known for his participation in the NASA Twins Study, a groundbreaking research project that compared his physiological and psychological changes with those of his identical twin brother, Mark Kelly, who is also a former astronaut.

During his career at NASA, Kelly flew four space missions, including three aboard the Space Shuttle and one year-long mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS) as part of the one-year mission. He has accumulated a total of 520 days in space, making him one of the most experienced U.S. astronauts. His year-long mission on the ISS provided valuable insights into the effects of long-duration spaceflight on the human body and mind.
