In this episode we are going to talk about finishing up the chicken tower walls and roof

Hi - We are Douglas and Keri! In May of 2022 we quit our jobs and sold our home in Denver, Colorado to move to our 36 acre off grid homestead property in Cochise County, Arizona. Follow along with us as we build our homestead from scratch!

Today we are going to show you how the chicken coop/poultry palace is coming along. The walls are officially up and the first coating on the lime roof. We are using a 3/1 sand/lime putty mixture. The roof will eventually be getting two more coats of this to make sure it is nice and water tight!
