Donald Trump Jr testifies in his father’s fraud trial

Donald Trump Jr is the first of the former president's children to testify in a New York civil fraud trial that could severely restrict the family's business activities in the state. Eric and Ivanka Trump are set to be called to the stand in the coming days. Eric and Donald Jr, who are both senior Trump Organization executives, are co-defendants in the case - alongside the former president. Trump and his sons have denied accusations they falsified business records and committed insurance fraud, among other claims. New York Attorney General Letitia James is seeking a fine of $250m (£204m) and a ban on Trump doing business in his home state for misrepresenting his wealth by hundreds of millions of dollars.
