DID YOU KNOW? That the first Shotgun that appeared in Resident Evil was the real-life Remington Model 870 Pump Action Shotgun? The exact same Shotgun appeared in Silent Hill 2 and 3 but those were created to be flawed, part of the game design, with a shorter barrel, high recoil, and less firepower. This model of the Shotgun first appeared briefly in Return of the Living Dead 2. It also briefly appeared in a couple of scenes in Blue Velvet! The perfect weapon to defend yourself against hordes of undead and monsters! The Remington Model 870 debuted in 1950 and has been used by Police, Hunters, and Civilians!
