Las Vegas: Two people are in critical condition, and a suspect is in custody after stealing a Metro patrol vehicle on Tuesday night.

At approximately 11:12 p.m., Metro police responded to a collision at South Rainbow Boulevard and West Hacienda Avenue. Moments before, around 11 a.m., officers also responded to a call about a male "possibly experiencing a mental health crisis" near the area of Blue Diamond Road and South Buffalo Drive.
Police have identified the man as 29-year-old Clyde Cabulisan of Las Vegas.

Upon approaching, the subject reportedly began fighting an officer before stealing his marked LVMPD patrol vehicle. Police pursued the suspect until he crashed into another vehicle on Rainbow and Hacienda.
