Air Jordan 4 White Cement Restoration

The Air Jordan 4 White Cement will forever be one of the greatest OG colorways of all time and I stand by that statement! However, these were not the in the best condition... Who let's their kicks get like this.. I mean they are only 7 years old! In today's episode of Restorations with Vick we will walk you through a total restoration from a cleaning to a paint job to a complete unyellowing.

First we had to start by using RESHOEVN8R just like we always do. You can't create a masterpiece without a clean canvas. Plus we had to remove the dirt and grime to get a real view of just how bad the paint job really was and wow was it bad! The cleaning process was simple it was a lot of scrubbing with all 3 different brushes and the Natural Solution to create all the bubbles. After that pretreatment it was only right that it went in the washing machine. Pro tip: When you pick up shoes from eBay if you can use just use the wash to flush out the previous owners bacteria!

Before we got into the paint job it was time to unyellow the sneaker using UV rays. The Sole Revive and UV rays were used on the midsole and outsole, but for the plastic hardware there are NO chemicals to fix that. You have to try the UV rays and hope for the best; which is can take quite a while to get there.

Now we tackle what Vick calls the WORST paint job he has ever seen.... Caked on paint, scuffs, scratches and a lot of inconsistency. We had to do a lot of prep work to get the greatest results. Pre work is 90% of the paint job and it is 100% necessary to get the best results.
