Frankenmuth Man To Stand Trial For PPP Loan Fraud

A Frankenmuth man found out Monday he will stand trial on five felony charges for allegedly obtaining two Paycheck Protection Program loans fraudulently during the height of the pandemic.

Anthoy Golden, 67, received nearly $41,000 in PPP loans from the federal government, and is being charged with two counts of false pretenses in excess of $20,000, two counts of filing false tax returns, and one count of use of a computer to commit a crime.

Golden will next appear in the 10th Circuit Court on a date to be determined by the Court.
