November 1, 2023 - "Not By Might, Nor By Power, But By My Spirit" - Zechariah 4-7

God called two men to rebuild the temple. There was opposition from the outside community and apathy from within the Jewish people. They were discouraged by the smallness and lack of influence. We often develop that same attitude in our calling to serve the Lord. God gave a word through the prophet to "not despise the days of small things," and that the work is accomplished "not by might, nor by power, buy by My Spirit." Wonderful encouragement for all of us. God is often pleased in the small things! We must depend upon His Spirit to empower us to do His Work in His Power!
