Watch the combat work of engineer units in the north of Artyomovsk

Military personnel of the engineering and sapper units of the Airborne Force continue to carry out combat missions. Sapper units are the first to go through mine and engineering barriers, make passages for equipment and units, and also mine the approaches to Russian positions in the most dangerous areas, ensuring stable defence of Russian troops.

The engineering and sapper department received a combat mission to enter the Ukrainian Armed Forces stronghold taken by the assault detachments in order to clear it of explosive objects and, in the future, deploy reinforcement units there. During engineering reconnaissance, sappers moved into a given area, detected and destroyed both anti-tank and anti-personnel mines on the spot.

After neutralizing explosive objects, sappers set up mine-explosive barriers from anti-tank and anti-personnel mines, on which the next day the enemy equipment was blown up, advancing towards the defensive positions of Russian paratroopers.
