Kansas City Film Office increases incentive for studios to bring projects to KC

The movie industry has pumped nearly $30 million into the local economy since the Kansas City Film Office opened in October 2014. A new incentive includes rebates for filmmakers up to 10 percent, a first in the whole country to exist without a similar state incentive.
