Last Sunday, October 29, while preparing for redeployment, the 1st battalion of the 1251st motorized rifle regiment of the Russian Armed Forces came under fire from HIMARS missiles. Residents of Chuvashia serve in this regiment; the convoy included KAMAZ and UAZ vehicles. The local TG channel “Angry Chuvashia” puts numbers up to 120 people killed and wounded, 10 burned cars. It is also clarified that the Atol battalion was almost completely destroyed.
