Confucius was a great thinker, an educator and the founder of Confucianism. For more than 2000 years, Confucius’ ideologies have influenced China and even the world, becoming a symbol of eastern culture. Through on-site visits and the form of MOOC, the video has been made to show the significance of Confucius’ hometown ‘Qufu’, Confucius’ impact, Confucius’ given name and surname, the legend about his birth story, the memorial ceremony and his life, to show an all-rounded vivid image of ‘The Great Sage’.

孔子是伟大的思想家、教育家、儒家学派的创始人。两千多年来，孔子的思想影响着中国乃至世界，成为东方文化的一种象征。视频通过实地探访、慕课等形式，向同学们介绍了孔子故里“曲阜”的音义、孔子的影响力、孔子的名和字、出生时的神奇传说、祭孔大典以及孔子的一生等内容，全方位呈现出“大哉孔子”的生动形象。
