The night closing in
There’s a restlessness within
But the rain is falling soft
And those doves in the loft make me smile for a moment

I look out on the bay
See reflections in the waves
I’m a few shots shy of drunk
And the sun has nearly sunk in the sea
One day that’ll be me

When the time comes
Bury me at sea
Just like that setting sun
Till I rise again from the deep
