The First Week Living on Our Sailboat - Fixing the Bilge Pump, A Free Tender & Free Crabs!

Sass and I finalized the purchase of our boat several weeks ago, but this is the first time that we've been aboard her as the owners. This means that we get to make changes and improvements, do some cleaning and organizing, and get the electrical system functioning properly.

Getting back to the boat for the first time since August, we found a few things in disarray. The batteries were completely dead and the bilge was overflowing. New batteries were purchased along with some electrical parts from the local hardware store and we were back into dry socks.

New dishes and kitchen utensils had been purchased at home and brought with us along with some linens and other items that make the boat "ours".
