The Cincinnati Southern Railway was built in the 1870s to help Cincinnati regain its place as a vital transportation hub. Emerging railroads dramatically reduced the use of steamboats and flatboats for moving goods.

The piece features two real estate attorneys, Alfred Nippert, who's family has been involved with the railway for generations, and Kevin Flynn, the former council member who is well aware of the value of Cincinnati's most valuable asset.

The program was produced by Justin Jeffre and shot and edited by Jim Prues.
