This book provides you with a detailed description of the development and production of a conversion of a car engine into an aircraft engine, including my know-how and many production drawings and steps to follow. I will share with you instructions on how to build the lightest possible modern aircraft engine, a four-cylinder with direct injection and a turbocharger, with the least amount of effort and expense possible, and which far surpasses the performance of the 100-horsepower Rotax 912 ULS.

The book will teach you how to make a gearbox and how to properly install the new engine into the aircraft to keep the center of gravity within its original limits. The 1.2 TSI engine comes very close in performance to the celebrated Rotax 915iS engine. In some applications, it can even surpass it, especially with higher torque! Higher torque combined with a suitable propeller will give you an unprecedented performance during takeoff, climb, and very high cruising speeds with low fuel consumption! These are the advantages of this engine converted for aviation."
These instructions can be applied to most modern car engines, not just the TSI series from VW. It's up to you which engine with what weight and power you choose for your conversion. The 1.2 TSI engine is 100% suitable for aircraft use, including the Yetti J-03 with a maximum takeoff weight of 450 kg and the NG4 to NG6 series of aircraft in the UL 600 kg category. Video demonstrations in the attachment will give you an idea of how aircraft with this engine can perform.
