The scenario Dave is predicting goes like this:

Increased regulation in the Trucking Industry due to insane bogus Environmental Laws is putting Trucking Companies and Independent Owner / Operators out of business.

Dave says 2 to 3 dollars more at the pump is the breaking point.

Diesel Fuel Shortages will cause a steep rise at the pump. This means less profit leading to no profit. Less food deliveries means skyrocketing inflation on the shelves and far less of it.

We may see the first big push for Bug Foods and Fake Meat to soon follow.

But of course they have been putting the squeeze on Food Production itself.

But this will not only effect food, but all deliveries as well. Other goods are not as essential as food, so you should expect other items even harder to obtain.

And of coarse, no products to sell at retailers means major Layoffs and Businesses going bust.

Stock up on things you will need now. I would definitely recommend skipping frivolous Christmas Gifts and buy very practical and essential items.

Personally I have given up celebrating Christmas after learning about it's Sick Pagan Origins - Santa - Saturn - Satan. And Christmas Trees were originally used as part of a Sacrifice Ritual. And December 25th has nothing to do with Jesus, but Mithras.
