Rocket alert sirens went off in a number of towns and cities in central Israel, including Tel Aviv. The Israel Defense Forces said rockets were launched from Lebanon at the Mount Dov area on the northern border, that hosts several military positions. Israel Defence Forces (IDF) claimed its ground operation into the Hamas-run Gaza Strip was “gradually expanding” and was going “according to plan”. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said Israel had crossed “red lines” that “may force everyone to take action”. Meanwhile, the top commander of Iran's revolutionary guards warned Israeli forces would be "devoured" if they set foot in Gaza.
