The UN Security Council is to hold another emergency meeting on Monday.

That's after the United Arab Emirates called for another one, seeking a humanitarian pause to the fighting in Gaza.

Last week the General Assembly voted in favour of a resolution for an immediate truce. The US and its ally Israel were among the countries who voted against.
