Residents of Vienna now have something to discuss. A strange fountain with 33 strange figures appeared in their city, on which 2.2 million euros were spent from the city budget - and this in a time of severe inflation and extremely high electricity prices! - complains the AutriaToday portal. The authors of the sculptural composition were a certain art group Gelatin (again, strange guys who only allow them to be photographed in skirts) and 15 more of their assistants. However, the burgomaster and federal president, the publication reports, really like this work.

Now, after the opening of the fountain by Mayor Michael Ludwig and Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen, many Viennese are wondering “how did these guys get the order in the first place and why did this project become so expensive? After all, the artists themselves say: “It is our greatest pleasure to do everything ourselves.” The idea of creating a strange fountain in Vienna, on the corner of Sonnwendgasse and Gudrunstrasse, came to the group during an experiment on themselves: twelve people sat in a circle, pressed tightly against each other and poured water into the middle so that it did not go away. Then someone else could splash around in such a temporary pool.
