Day 2 update: Israel strikes Gaza with 'mighty vengeance'. Date: Oct 8, 2023

Hundreds of men, women, and children were gunned down in their cars, homes, and at a rave.

Dozens more were captured and taken into Gaza. Israel is still reeling from yesterday's surprise attack by Hamas - which is designated a terrorist group by the UK, US, and European Union. Shock too, in Gaza, where two days of retaliatory air strikes have led to hundreds of casualties.
