Started in 2019 and finally finished in 2022, Green Jerry's "The Quest For The Candies" is a Halloween themed romhack about Dry Bowser, instead of trying to get his original body and form back, steals all the candy in the Mushroom Kingdom, preventing everyone from celebrating Halloween. Yes, apparently you can only celebrate the holiday by Trick or Treating and the costumes and horror movie nights are not nearly as important. Now, it's up to Mario to find all the candy and make sure Bowser stays dead this time!

We make it to Dry Bowser's mountain, where we face TWO new types of Dry Bones, one that jumps like a Paratroopa, and one that throws bones in an arc. In other words, slightly new enemies that are no match for the Feather powerup we obtain in the same level. When we make it to the skeletal Koopa King himself, he was hiding at the top of the screen behind the hud. It felt more like the Boo Line that chases you around was the real final boss rather then Bowser. Nevertheless, we defeat him and bring the candies back to the Mushroom Kingdom!
