1975 🇷🇸 #UFOB [CASE] Yugoslavian pilot Ivan Mamić on his UFO encounter.

In January 1975, Yugoslavian pilots were scrambled over the south of Croatia and Montenegro to intercept a UFO.

They tried to reach the unknown object with N-60 Galeb and J-21 Jastreb attack training jets and later MIG 21s came to their aid.

The MIGs were ordered to shoot down the unknown aircraft. However, the UFO always flew at the edge of the MIG's aiming radar. They chased them across the sea, in the direction of Italy.

The MIGs were flying 1,700 kilometers per hour, supersonic, but there was no chance to get to the UFO to come within firing range, let alone for the MIG to approach it.

It is interesting that UFOs always appeared and disappeared in the direction of the sea - recalled General Grahovac. His colleague who was flying in a hawk once opened fire from a machine gun, but the UFO reached a speed higher than a fired bullet. One evening, an unknown aircraft stopped at a height of 600-700 meters above their airport in Titograd and shone a beam of light on the planes.
