In a charming coastal town in Italy, Luca and his friend Alberto share a unique secret. They are sea monsters who transform into humans when on land. The two friends spend their days exploring the picturesque Italian Riviera. Luca is fixing an old Vespa scooter he found, dreaming of riding it through their town, Portorosso. As they work on the Vespa, they overhear children talking about scary sea monsters that come out at night. Fearing the reactions of the locals, Luca and Alberto decide to keep their secret hidden.
