The Shocking Case of Patricia Ward

On the 28th of October 2014, the residents of New York’s Farmingdale village, located in Long Island were excitedly preparing for Halloween, which was just a few short days away.

One of the residents, 35-year-old Derek Ward, was seen by neighbours dragging out what they initially believed to be a Halloween decoration, or perhaps a macabre prank. Moments later, he would be seen kicking what looked like a fake head across the street.

Neighbours would soon realise that what they were witnessing, was anything but a joke.
