Food has long been a political issue in the U.S. – in the early 1900s, citizens were afraid of an adulterated food supply so they asked the government to swoop in and save them and it was Republicans that led the charge. However, in recent decades, the political left has predominantly led the charge for a clean food supply. The two sides of the political aisle seem to be at odds with each other on this issue. Why isn’t food bringing us together, fighting for the common interest of clean, healthy food? In today’s episode, Joel speaks to conservatives about Biblical principles of stewardship over the land, animals, and entire ecology by answering the simple question: Does God Care What’s On Your Plate?
