California AG May Sue Kroger to Block Albertsons Acquisition

The California Attorney General's office is considering suing Kroger to block its proposed acquisition of Albertsons. Kroger has pushed back against the AG's concerns, saying that the deal will lead to lower prices for consumers, secure union jobs, and direct more food to hungry families.

It is unclear whether the California Attorney General's lawsuit will be successful, but it could further delay or even derail the deal.
